Totally agree. You would never however target individuals. If you did find that all 25 year old males and 45 year old females like your target product idea you would change design tactic. You would certainly have to go unisexual in a mature style. So yeah that information would help immensely in choosing your marketing and planning. If you found that ONLY 25 year old males and 45 year old females liked your product and NO ONE in between then you would probably want to split the product into two different packages targetting the different groups specifically if you found other variations in the results to do so. Or you may conduct another survey of those groups directly.
