Dear PIGMIs ,
I'm putting up for sale my beloved iMac. I got good use out of her for
a couple of projects and am now finding she's sitting very lonely at
the back of my house in the cold. She deserves better. She deserves a
new home and a caring owner. Someone who will get home and look
forward to hearing to her chirpy boot sound. Anyway, misogynistic
workaholic husband vibe aside. My iMac specs are as follows.
Used iMac 27" 3.06Ghz Core Duo 2 4GB.
Specifications are as follows:
27-inch 2560 x 1440 LED-backlit display;
3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 3MB shared L2 cache;
4GB 1066 MHz DDR3 SDRAM expandable to 16GB;
ATI Radeon HD 4850 discrete graphics; with 512MB GDDR3;
1TB Serial ATA hard drive running at 7200 rpm;
a slot-load 8x SuperDrive with double-layer support (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW);
Mini DisplayPort for video input and output (adapters sold separately);
built-in AirPort Extreme 802.11n wireless networking and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR;
built-in iSight video camera;
Gigabit Ethernet port;
four USB 2.0 ports;
one FireWire 800 port;
SD card slot;
built-in stereo speakers and microphone
Xcode, Eclipse and perhaps some other dev tools already installed.
This is a late 2009 model but it was purchased about 15-16 months ago
now. Of note is it's upgraded graphics card (normally a 4670 with 256
MB GDDR3 in this model). I did not opt for the wireless keyboard and
mouse. So both keyboard and mouse are wired. The apple mouse has a
scroll ball which does not work properly. Apart from that the iMac is
in very good nick. Original purchase price was $2409.00 AUD. It will
probably go on eBay next week some time but I thought I'd give the
PIGMI crew first suck of the sauce bottle.
Accepting $1,400.00 ONO.
