Sure. But how much of your advertising budget goes to Fred, how much to Elaine? Do you target them equally, or do you focus on one and miss the other?

Or is the point to sell one, maybe two copies of the game? It's just a matter of generalisations and trends. There might be 8 of Elaine's friends who are likewise interested, but 80 of Fred's, or vice versa.
