When's the submission deadline? I have an idea for a project but I think I need
to work out more of the design and implementation required before I can even
think about pitching it to anyone!

You submit a project (for free) here :
http://www.xmedialab.com/node/add/project-application?event=1177

If the project is shortlisted, your team will be invited to the mentoring
sessions. It's $500 per team member, to a max of $2000.

I think when Avril said 'pitch' the Rev project, 'submit' would have been
just a good a word to use.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you can only pitch once you have gone to the
$500 event so I'm not convinced that would classify as free.

Could someone clarify if it is $500 per team member you bring along?

The Game I've started working on now with a few people I don't think is
unique enough to enter and a Discussion with Jon (and Friends') Idea sounds
promising but I think I wouldn't get enough out of it at this stage to
warrant the $500.
