Hi *,
Just a reminder that What's Up Pitches?! is on tonight (6-8pm at Central
Institute of Technology in East Perth).
In terms of the number of speakers, this is going to be our biggest
event so far. We've got a wide range of topics and platforms, and there
are also a few companies actively looking to find hires/projects.
More information (including speakers) at:
http://letsmakegames.org/2011/05/23/whats-up-pitches-this-friday/
We're still open to responses to the Tourism WA challenge ("How would
you create a game to promote holidaying in Western Australia?"):

Responses must be brief (<3 minutes) and can be pretty free-form (stand
up and talk), and I encourage anyone with a last-minute pitch to come a
little early (5:30pm) and talk to us tonight so we can schedule you in.
Tourism WA don't have any immediate plans to develop a video game, but
they are interested in learning what could be produced and assessing how
effective it may be.
Given the high volume of talks, we unfortunately won't be able to record
tonight's event. So be sure to be there! ;)
Regards,
- Nick
