<div>I've used a 3rd party importer for a laptop before (not a mac):</div><div><br></div><div><a href="http://www.priceusa.com.au/">http://www.priceusa.com.au/</a></div><div><br></div><div>They charge 5% plus a reshipping fee, but it will reduce that gap from $1000 to a couple of hundred. You kind of sneak it past customs with private shipping so no tariffs etc. Not too sure if that is technically legal though.</div>
