If it is indeed a sample I'm pretty sure he would have cleared it.  A friend of mine did some sounds for his own game and was contacted by Jeff (or Giles?) for permission to include them in Minotaur.<div><br></div><div>

there from Defender, Blaster, Robotron and Sinistar - all Williams<br>
