I said I now have ideas (that I can test) on how to improve retention / reduce bounce rate. I didn't mention conversions or revenue - my measure of performance is obviously my bounce rate (seems fair enough for an imaginary site).<br>

<p>Unless you are already tracking revenue (or whatever your websites conversion metric is) against that visitor segment (ie6) and can see a change in performance for that segment you are _guessing_ that doing this will have any tangible benefit to your website.</p>
<p>Maybe its a good guess... But who knows?</p>
<p>Dont really think its the right approach personally, but if you don't have to justify your hours spent doing things, fair enough~</p>
